The growing trend of alcohol abuse by Gambian Girls

Yes, i know, i know!! We are all young and tryna have fun. We all wanna explore, learn and discover new things. Shiiiiiiiiiiit! i wanna have stories that i can tell my grandkids one day and they'll look up at me and be like 'damn! suma mam dafa badon deh' lol.. Before i become a hypocrite.. lemme confess to yol. (im sweating) lol.. i HAVE had an alcoholic drink b4, i have smoked weed b4 but all of these were on an 'experimental' level, never to be repeated AGAIN! I just had to see what the hype was about. We all have peer pressure and the weak willed ones, like myself, try to blend in, u know, be accepted, to fit in. But why blend in when u can stand out?? Alcohol isnt as cool as celebs, adverts and the rest make it look like. The lindsay lohans and paris hiltons of the world are sooooooo good at making it look tempting and we are all free to test new things but we should know when to stop. My point is, we shudn't lose sight of who we are. We shudnt lose ourselves.The growing trend of  alcohol consumption especially during 'clubbin' is getting insane in Gambia. Girls now drink to get drunk and the worst part is, most of them can't even handle their liquor! Its embarassing how some of us behave when drunk. ITS NOT A  COOL LOOK LADIES! Wat happened to the good ol' bottles of coke, malta and them? We still had fun drinking those so y change? Like the wolofs say 'lu jik golo jikgut gong'. Let's not copy the styles of others,. Ain't nothin better than stayin true to urself. BARTENDER! PASS ME A BOTTLE OF COKE!! Amen! ;)
